David E. Fuchs, MD FAAFP CMD
Board Certified in Family Medicine
Dr. Fuchs, a native of Glenside, PA, graduated from Gettysburg College in 1974 and received his M.D. degree from the Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, PA, in 1978. In 1981 he completed a Family Practice Residency at Lancaster General Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He entered private medical practice in 1981, and founded the Oyster Point Family Health Center in 1985. He is board certified in Family Medicine and has maintained the Certificate of Added Qualification in Geriatric Medicine since 1994. He became a Certified Medical Director in 2005. He now serves as the Medical Director of the Brethren Village Retirement Community. He enjoys grand-parenting, golf, and is an avid collector of antique German language religious books printed in the US.
