Dean Leis, MD
Dr. Leis grew up in Philadelphia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Penn State University, and received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1973. He completed his Family Practice Residency at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center in 1976, ending as Chief Resident from 1975-1976. He entered into private practice with Dr. David Raham in 1976. Dr. Frank Battista joined him in practice in 1980. From 1995-2000 Dr. Leis was Medical Director of Beacon Medical Group. The practice joined PAL in July, 2011. Dr. Leis is a member of the Information Technology Steering Committee, and the Finance Committee. He and his wife, Lynne (who also works for PAL) have two grown daughters and one granddaughter, and currently live in Hummelstown. Outside interests include hiking, boating, reading and gardening.
