Scott Snyder, MD
Board Certified in Family Medicine
Dr. Snyder grew up in Waynesboro, PA. He attended Gettysburg College with majors in Chemistry and Biology, graduating in 1989. He earned his medical degree from Penn State University College of Medicine in Hershey in 1993. He went on to complete his residency in Family Medicine in 1996 at the University of Virginia, where he was Chief Resident. Dr. Snyder moved to Lancaster with his family and joined Oyster Point Family Health Center in 1998. He is Board Certified in Family Medicine and enjoys seeing patients of all ages.
Dr. Snyder is also a Board Member of Physicians’ Alliance, Ltd., the head physician for the Hempfield School District, and is an American Red Cross instructor in Wilderness First Aid. His non-professional interests include travel, hiking, backpacking, skiing, paddling, SCUBA diving and martial arts. He also enjoys cooking and home-brewing.
