Stephanie Todd, MD
A native of southeastern PA, Dr. Todd received a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Stetson University in Deland, FL before working for Revlon’s corporate headquarters in business in Manhattan. After a subsequent stint in Bank Management, she accompanied a medical team to South America, a pivotal experience in her life. She returned to the classroom to complete an interdisciplinary degree in Chemistry at the University of South Florida in Tampa, FL in preparation for a career in medicine. Upon graduation, she studied at Cambridge University in England and then devoted 3 years of her life to medical and humanitarian missions. To date, she has volunteered in 25 nations in Africa, Asia, Central and South America, Pacifica, Europe, and the Caribbean. With a passion for international medicine, she has studied medicine at hospitals in Israel, as well as three hospitals in England – London, York, and Canterbury – before graduating from St. George’s University. She obtained a Masters degree in Public Health from Johns Hopkins University, and she completed residency in Internal Medicine at the Penn State Milton S. Medical Center in Hershey, PA. During her medical residency, she worked with ABC News as a Medical Journalist and has authored 11 articles for ABCNews.com.
With a background in business and medicine, she has a strong interest in public policy. Her greatest passion, however, is improving health in developing nations and aiding the undeserved abroad. Her interests include: traveling, writing, sailing, and scuba diving.
